The expansion of an existing cement factory includes the construction of various new buildings (mill, bagging system), two cement silos and the connections with existing elements (buildings, silos). The project includes the following elements: Special foundations for a modular cement mill type “Plug & Grind”, cement mill building, 2 cements silos of 500 m3, bagging system, bulk cargo system, raw material conveyor belts.
ARAMBOL contributed to this project engineering two 500 m3 silos, auxiliary buildings and silos structural supports and hole project's foundations. We also provided technical support to our client, including: review of the existing design, structures and special connections calculation, detailed calculation reports, coordination models (to check interferences with other elements such as: building structure, air conditioning ducts), assistance to the construction phase and general, assembly and shop drawings obtained from BIM coordination and fabrication models.
